East Works, built by James, is a follow up to Creech Bottom again based on the Purbeck 'ball clay' lines north of Corfe in Dorset. The line is inspired largely by the Norden system and features a small clay mill and works along with engine shed. Trains arrive from the mine (off stage) and shunt the works via the headshunt.
The layout, just 110cm x 34cm requires around 6ft of space and is supported on trestles to give an eye level view, presented in a cameo style.
