Welcome to the home of the EHLR. a fictitious narrow gauge light railway in the United Kingdom.

This website collects photos, descriptions and 'how to' articles together to help generate enthusiasm for model making, narrow gauge railways and encourage readers to progress and improve their own efforts. We don't claim to be experts but hope by sharing our experiences we can help people learn from our mistakes and borrow our successes. Model making and model railways in particular are such a diverse hobby, and there is something for everyone who gets involved, be it historic research, photography, and model making from structures and scenery to detailed working locomotives.
